We are looking for the capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organisations desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

IT Skills and Experience

  • Desired Experience:
  • Support the Windows Servers (L3 support).
  • Handling Different PC Operating Systems ( Windows 7/8 and 10)
  • Build and migrations activities between VMware farms and from On-prem to Azure.
  • Strong technical skills in Wintel.
  • Strong capabilities in Wintel – Windows AD and ESXi.
  • Strong communication Skills & Client management
  • Managing and supporting the Wintel track for enterprise level.
  • Managing SLA for the Track and driving the Critical incidents for resolution.
  • Provide Technical Guidance to Team.
  • SLM experience for Managing the complete Wintel track.
  • Strong experience installing, configuring and managing Windows 2016, 2012, & 2008 servers
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Physical servers hosting Windows mainly HP HW including MS clusters.
  • Virtual servers hosted on VMware Vsphere clusters farm.
  • VMware Administration including building ESX clusters using storage like SAN & NAS, VMotion, VM cloning, snap-shot, recovery, etc..
  • Hands-on experience and strong knowledge of Windows servers, images, storage, backup and other IaaS components on MS Azure.
  • Understanding of managing Windows servers config using Active Directory GPO, OU delegation and other dependencies.
  • Securitization of Windows OS with Anti-Virus, patching and OS hardening.
  • Well verse with Power-shell scripts, usage, understanding and necessary fine tuning if needed.

  • Windows OS (e.g. XP, Vista, Windows 7, 10)
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • PC/Laptop hardware
  • PC/Laptop peripherals, including printers
  • Mobile devices

  Basic knowledge of:  

  • Active Directory
  • Exchange
  • Apple OS
  • SCCM

IT Qualifications

At least two of the following:

  • PC/Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification

Experience in a similar role

  • 3+ year of relevant experience.
