We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
Role Overview
Audio-Visual and Video Conferencing Specialist with experience in deploying and supporting enterprise collaboration solutions. Proven expertise in Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) implementation and administration, along with advanced skills in Audio/Video systems integration across diverse environments. Strong background in managing and troubleshooting VC platform,s including Cisco, Logitech, Crestron, and Q-SYS, ensuring seamless meeting experiences for small huddle spaces to large-scale Town Hall setups. Skilled in configuring amplifiers, DSPs, and AV control systems, with proficiency in monitoring tools such as Q-SYS Reflect and Logitech Sync. Adept at vendor coordination, network readiness planning, and asset management using ServiceNow, delivering projects within SLA and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR)
- Implement and configure MTR PCs and peripherals.
- Conduct regular audits and walkthroughs of MTR conference rooms.
- Support AEM live webcast meetings globally.
- Collaborate with AV vendors to migrate legacy rooms to MTR solutions.
- Utilize Teams Rooms Pro Management Portal for device control, configurations, and
diagnostics.
Act as: Site Lead: Oversee deployments, manage escalations, and coordinate with stakeholders.
Site Technician: Handle day-to-day troubleshooting, maintenance, and on-site support for
Teams Rooms hardware.
Video Conferencing Solutions - Manage and support VC platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Cisco, Logitech, and Q- SYS.
- Configure VC codecs and ensure smooth integration with AV systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve AV technical issues promptly.
- Deploy and support AV solutions across various spaces:
- Small huddle rooms (4 pax)
- Medium conference rooms (6–14 pax)
- Large boardrooms (17–34 pax)
- Training rooms (up to 200 pax)
- Town Hall spaces (700–1200 pax)
Operational Support - Provide ongoing resolution and support for meetings and incidents within SLA.
- Work on ServiceNow for asset management and ticket handling.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage AV assets.
- Assess meeting room spaces to determine appropriate equipment based on size and meeting style.
- Coordinate with AV and facilities teams for installation logistics.
Monitoring & Administration - Collaborate with the Global UC team for Microsoft Teams Admin Centre for VC-related configurations.
- Monitor AV/VC equipment using tools like Q-SYS Reflect and Logitech Sync.
- Ensure timely updates and health checks of AV/VC systems.
- Order certified Teams Rooms devices from trusted resellers.
- Install and configure devices in meeting rooms, complete initial setup, sign in with resource accounts, and test functionality.
Documentation
- Cisco VC Codecs, Logitech Rally, Crestron Control Systems
- Create and maintain documentation for AV/VC setups, processes, and troubleshooting
guides. - Create dedicated Microsoft 365 resource accounts for each Teams Room to enable calendar integration and meeting join functionality.
Skills - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms and VC technologies (Cisco, Logitech,
Q-SYS). - Experience in AV system integration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Q-SYS Reflect, Logitech Sync).
- Proficiency in ServiceNow for asset and incident management.
