We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused ICT & AV Support Technician to join the European Union Support Services (EUSS) team. In this role, you will be the technical escalation point for complex IT issues, provide hands-on and remote support, and ensure seamless operations of audiovisual and videoconferencing technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
2nd-Line ICT & AV Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues.
- Provide hands-on desktop support at the host Representation.
- Work closely with the Helpdesk on complex tickets and remote diagnostics.
Digital Workplace Management
- Install and maintain end-user devices (laptops, docking stations, mobile phones, etc.).
- Configure equipment according to DWP standards.
Network & Telephony
- Maintain and troubleshoot VPN, VLAN, and remote access.
- Support VOIP/PABX systems, mobile devices, and Teams integration.
AV & Videoconferencing
- Set up and support VC systems (Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.).
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance and provide on-site support during events.
Quality Control & Reporting
- Review and improve ticket quality in Service Now.
- Mentor ICT-1 team members and contribute to knowledge articles.
- Generate and analyze incident reports to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
3–5 years of IT support experience
Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills
Fluent in Romanian and English
Knowledge of ITIL practices (certification preferred)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work onsite and remotely as needed
