We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organisation’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
About the Role:
The Junior Field Support Engineer will provide on-site technical support across multiple clinic locations. This role involves hands-on hardware support, basic networking assistance, and coordination with end users under the supervision of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Boxing and unboxing of IT and networking equipment
- Plug-and-play installation of networking equipment under the supervision of senior network engineers
- Ability to understand and follow technical instructions related to unboxing, installation, backup, and related tasks
- Rack and stack of networking equipment under supervision (no prior configuration experience required)
- Provide desktop and basic networking support with an approximate Networking to Desktop Support ratio of 2:1 per site
- Update and manage tickets using ServiceNow (knowledge preferred)
- Coordinate with end users to ensure smooth issue resolution and support delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of IT hardware and field support activities
- Willingness to learn and follow detailed technical instructions
- Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with end users and internal teams
- Ability to travel frequently and work independently across multiple locations
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Travel Requirements
- Frequent travel between Oneonta and Cooperstown (reimbursed at actuals)
- Frequent travel to other clinics (up to 3 hours one-way)
- Travel is a core part of the role; a personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license are mandatory
