We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support Officer to provide comprehensive hardware, software, network, and helpdesk support to our clients. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operation and maintenance of the client’s IT infrastructure, resolve technical issues promptly, and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Technical Services
- Perform routine maintenance, installation, upgrades, and system image creation for Windows operating systems.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade application software, including Office suite, browsers, and business applications.
- Provide user guidance on software operation and basic training.
- Install antivirus software, update virus definitions, and remove malware from client terminals.
Hardware Maintenance
- Install, configure, and debug hardware components, peripherals, and drivers.
- Detect, diagnose, and troubleshoot hardware faults.
- Provide hardware repair, replacement, and delivery services.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure hardware stability and prolong lifespan.
- Provide hardware usage training and support tailored to client needs.
- Assist with equipment registration, inventory, and maintenance statistics.
Network Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to terminal network connections.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices from switches to endpoints.
- Support Office Network, Shared Drives, Wireless, and VPN connectivity.
Helpdesk Support
- Handle and resolve tickets assigned by the Call Center efficiently and within deadlines.
- Perform additional helpdesk tasks as directed by clients.
Basic Requirements:
- Physically healthy with a valid health examination certification.
- Proficient in Windows OS, printing systems, and computer hardware (desktops, laptops, peripherals).
- Knowledgeable in network hardware configuration and troubleshooting.
- Capable of supporting Office network, shared drives, wireless, and VPN connections.
- Familiar with various application software configurations.
- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
- Strong bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English.
- Excellent customer service, planning, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA A+).
- Experience with virus removal, data recovery, and system imaging.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
