We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end IT Asset Lifecycle including procurement, allocation, tracking, and disposal
- Maintain and update asset repositories in tools like ServiceNow (SNOW), Flexera, Traxx
- Perform asset tagging, labeling, and documentation (laptop certificates, stickers, etc.)
- Handle material receipting, verification, and returning of faulty hardware
- Conduct periodic asset audits and physical stock verification activities
- Track and manage lost/missing assets, including insurance and compliance formalities
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all IT assets, including PCs, laptops, and peripherals
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities (asset allocation, retrieval, and documentation)
- Manage e-waste disposal, asset decommissioning, and compliance with disposal policies
- Coordinate racking, stacking, movement, and storage of IT devices
- Handle receiving deliveries, verification, and sign-off processes
- Perform scanning and tracking of new and returned assets
- Ensure adherence to SEZ compliance and documentation requirements
- Provide support during Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities
- Generate and maintain monthly asset reports
- Create and manage ServiceNow tickets related to asset operations.
Experience in a similar role
- 3+ year of experience in a desktop support, helpdesk, or IT technician role.
