We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Mobile Kitting Technician to support the setup and deployment of iPhones for end users. The role covers the entire kitting process—from unboxing to initial configuration, ensuring that each device is properly set up, tested, and ready for deployment.
This is a part-time, on-call opportunity—ideal for someone with a flexible schedule, solid experience with iOS devices, and comfort working independently.
IT Skills and Experience
- Unbox and inspect iPhones for damage or defects.
- Install iOS updates and required applications.
- Configure device settings and ensure network connectivity.
- Enroll devices in Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems as needed
- Test key functionalities (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, camera, etc.)
- Package and label devices per company standards.
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools installation & troubleshooting
- Track and document device serial numbers and configuration status.
- Support local dispatch or delivery logistics as required.
- Advanced technical abilities, including solid troubleshooting skills applicable to Windows, Apple, and virtual operating systems
- Ability to manage time and resources to meet or exceed expectations in high-profile situations while maintaining professionalism under pressure

In-depth knowledge of:
- Hands-on experience with iOS (iPhone) setup and configuration
- Familiarity with app installation and basic mobile troubleshooting
- Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and checklists
- Strong attention to detail and task ownership
- Ability to lift and move small boxes (10–20 lbs)
Basic knowledge of:
- Active Directory
- Exchange
- Apple OS
- SCCM
IT Qualifications
At least one of the following:
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- Previous experience in IT support, device kitting, or mobile rollout projects
- Familiarity with tools like Apple Configurator, Intune, or other MDM platforms
Experience in a similar role
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Ready to travel 10-20 Miles as per the requirement
