We are seeking a capable resource to coordinate a range of activities, from simple tasks to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organisation’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 and 2 technical support for end users, including hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
  • Troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, VPN, remote desktop, and other commonly used applications.
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and updates as required.
  • Monitor and respond quickly to helpdesk tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and user guides.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities including provisioning and de-provisioning IT equipment.
  • Coordinate with other IT teams and vendors for escalated issues or specialized support.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in desktop or IT support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
