We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

About the Role
Axiom Technologies is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer (Full-Time Role) based in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, USA. This Full-Time, independent contractor role involves providing both on-site and remote support for end users while efficiently managing assignments and coordinating service requests.
You’ll serve as the go-to technical resource for desktop support needs, ensuring the timely resolution of IT issues and smooth coordination among field technicians and internal teams.
Role Overview:
The Desktop Support Engineer provides first and second-level technical support and manages the assignment and dispatch of service requests. This role ensures prompt resolution of end-user issues through ticket triaging, task prioritization, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- – Provide IT infrastructure field support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating systems (3+ years of experience required).
- – Monitor and resolve routine and non-routine desktop issues and requests.
- – Act as a technical escalation point for end users.
- – Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and comply with group practices.
- – Update ServiceNow and other data repositories in a timely manner.
- – Identify technical issues and recommend process improvements.
- – Perform intermediate-to-advanced IMAC (installs, moves, adds, changes) and deskside support services.
- – Handle software installations, upgrades, and basic LAN/internetworking activities.
Requirements:
- – Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Office Suite/O365.
- – A+ certification and at least one certification from Cisco or Microsoft.
- – Vendor certifications (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP) are a plus.
- – Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks.
- – Availability for flexible work schedules.
