We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Axiom Technologies is seeking a Branch Support Specialist based in Houston, TX, to provide hands-on and remote support for our branch operations. This full-time role involves assisting end users, coordinating service requests, and ensuring seamless technology operations at the branch level. You will act as the primary technical liaison for the branch, supporting desktop, network, and peripheral needs while ensuring smooth collaboration between field technicians and internal teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited institution
    • In lieu of a degree, 3 years of progressive experience may be considered for each year of education
  • IT support experience within a Financial Services or Brokerage environment (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proven troubleshooting skills with a strong commitment to incident resolution
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and general office computing tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to support all buildings within a Metro Campus, if assigned

 Primary Responsibilities

  • Install and support software applications
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain software and infrastructure
  • Handle escalations from the Helpdesk for in-house, third-party, and market data applications
  • Support operating system drivers, software, and firmware
  • Assist users with home connectivity and work-from-home setups
  • Ensure adherence to client policies and procedures
  • Create and maintain technical support documentation
  • Collaborate with local and global support teams across platforms
  • Record and manage incidents and requests in the ticketing system
  • Proactively communicate trends, major issues, and expected delays to management
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend support
  • Stay current with technology and complete relevant training
  • Be responsive across multiple communication platforms (Email, Microsoft Teams, Symphony, Jive, etc.)

Required Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or relevant IT certifications preferred.
    • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in desktop support, branch support, or IT helpdesk roles.
