We are seeking a capable resource to coordinate a range of activities, from simple tasks to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
The Dispatch AV Technician will provide on-site and remote support for AV and IT systems. This role requires a proactive, tech-savvy individual with solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to service dispatches for AV setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Install, configure, and test AV systems: projectors, VC systems, speakers, displays, control systems (Crestron, Extron)
- Support IT hardware (PCs, routers, printers, switches) and basic network issues
- Maintain logs, resolve service tickets, and liaise with internal and client-side teams
- Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical users
- Stay up to date with AV/IT trends and tools
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years in AV or IT technician roles
- Familiarity with AV platforms (Crestron, Extron, Cisco, Logitech, Polycom)
- Basic network/system troubleshooting (Windows, MacOS, Linux)
- Experience with Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet
- Valid driver’s license + ability to travel
- Technical certifications or an Associate’s degree are a plus
Additional Requirements
- On-call flexibility (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
- Ability to lift and transport AV equipment
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
