We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing resources, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful project completion aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align objectives.
- Conduct regular status meetings, provide project updates, and ensure documentation is maintained.
- Ensure adherence to project governance processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Monitor and report on project KPIs and performance metrics.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Facilitate change management and ensure seamless adoption of new systems or processes.
- Coordinate with the IT support and infrastructure teams to ensure successful deployment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in IT project management.
- Project Management certification preferred (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications).
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, or enterprise systems.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or Asana.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Team Collaboration
- Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and third-party vendors.
- Facilitate training sessions for users on new systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
- Experience with technologies like Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Shopify, or similar.
- Familiarity with barcode/RFID systems, mobile POS, and e-commerce integration.
- Work Environment:
Hybrid work model with occasional travel to warehouse or retail sites as needed. - Fast-paced, collaborative environment requiring strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
