We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate activities, ranging from simple to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
Location: Lancaster, -Pennsylvania, USA
Contract Type: Independent Contractor-1099 / (2 Months contract)
Start Date: Immediate
Eligibility: U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders Preferred

The Desktop Support Engineer (2 Months contract) role is responsible for providing first- and second-level technical support while also managing the efficient assignment and dispatch of service requests. This on-site role ensures end-user issues are resolved promptly—either directly or by coordinating with other technicians—by triaging tickets, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining strong communication between IT and users.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site smart hand technical support for hardware and network issues in the DC. 
  • Network switch installation and refresh activities
  • Network troubleshooting and coordination with remote teams
  • On-site support / Hands & Feet operations
  • Service Provider Technician to reach DC within an hour for smart hand support during off-business hours for P1 & P2 incidents, immediate support in during business hours when the request is raised.  
  • Service Provider Technician should understand DC Components, including Server / Network Switch / Router / Storage devices. 
  • The vendor shall ensure the dispatch of the same technician with relevant DC experience. If the specified technician is unavailable, the vendor must provide an alternative technician with similar DC expertise to fulfill customer needs. 
  • Service Provider technician available for all break-fix activities in DC that require smart hand support.
  • Provide H&F support during the installation of new hardware, along with OEM and or Wipro Remote Team –  
  • Smart hand support for remote sites that have basic knowledge of Compute / Network components.                 
  • ADHOC emergency tasks: 
  • Server reboots at its request.
