We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Axiom Technologies is seeking an experienced Communications Specialist based in Montreal, Canada, to support internal and external communications for the organization. This dispatch-based, part-time role involves managing information flow, coordinating messaging, and assisting teams with communication-related needs, both on-site and remotely. You will be the go-to resource for communications support, ensuring that information is delivered clearly, timely, and in coordination with other teams and field staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, edit, and distribute internal communications such as newsletters, announcements, and updates for employees.
  • Support external communications, including client updates, service notifications, and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate communication requests and assignments with relevant teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison between branch staff, field technicians, and management for communications initiatives.
  • Maintain communication standards, templates, and documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist with troubleshooting minor technical issues related to communication platforms (e.g., email, collaboration tools).
  • Ensure all messaging aligns with company policies, branding guidelines, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, marketing support, or related roles.
  • Proficient in email platforms, collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack), and content management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and communication tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborative, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a part-time, dispatch-based role.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to support urgent communications needs on-site or remotely.
  • Preferred: Certifications in communications, public relations, or marketing (e.g., HubSpot Content Marketing, CAP).

Work Environment

  • Part-time, independent contractor role with a dispatch-based schedule.
  • On-site presence at the Montreal, Canada, office or branch locations may be required.
  • Remote support and coordination with teams and branch staff will be expected.
