We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organisation’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Vision Application Training Engineer to serve as a Technical Expert & Trainer, supporting technology transfer, advanced troubleshooting, and on-site training for industrial vision systems.
The role starts with comprehensive system training at our China headquarters and continues with on-site deployment in Houston, supporting operators, service coordinators, and key project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
Complete in-depth system and technology training at China HQ
Deliver structured technical training to on-site operators and service coordinators
Troubleshoot complex industrial vision system issues
Perform system validation and ground-truth comparison
Develop, localize, and optimize operation & maintenance documentation
Provide advanced technical support during critical project phases
Qualifications:
3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial vision system debugging
Proficiency in VisionPro, Halcon, or VisionMaster
Strong understanding of vision hardware (cameras, lenses, lighting)
Ability to independently complete measurement project validation
Mandatory: Fluent Mandarin Chinese (speaking required) for training in China
Fluent English for U.S. training and documentation
Valid U.S. B1/B2 visa or legal authorization to enter the U.S.
Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Other Requirements:
Engineering background with machine vision exposure
Fast learner comfortable working in global environments
Willing to travel internationally for extended training
Suggested Contract Duration: 6-12 months (covering domestic training, overseas deployment, and key project support period).
