We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
Job Summary:
We are looking for candidate at the forefront of designing, analysing, and implementing applications and systems that form the foundation of our infrastructure. As a crucial member of our IT team, you’ll contribute your technical assistance and guidance to projects for various systems and infrastructures. Acting as a technical liaison, you’ll address complex business problems with automated systems solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving Lam’s commitment to innovation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track asset movements, updates, and changes in the Configuration Management
Database(ServiceNow HAMPRO). - Ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of end user computer assets, from procurement to
retirement. - Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to manage asset acquisition and
disposal. - Generate regular reports on asset status, utilization, and compliance.
- Conduct periodic audits to verify asset accuracy and integrity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in asset and lifecycle management.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with IT, procurement, finance, and other relevant teams to ensure
seamless asset management processes. - Provide training and support to staff on asset management policies and procedures.
- Identify underutilized or overutilized assets and recommend actions.
- Document and communicate best practices and lessons learned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT asset management, lifecycle management, or a related role.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
- Proficiency in asset management software and tools.
- Strong understanding of IT hardware, software, and licensing.
- Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
