Job Description:
Deployment and Configuration:
Install and configure SolarWinds software, including Network Performance Monitor (NPM), Server & Application Monitor (SAM), Network Configuration Manager (NCM), NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA), and other modules.
Set up and manage SolarWinds agents and polling engines to ensure comprehensive monitoring coverage.
Experience/knowledge of SolarWinds AIOPS capabilities is added advantage.
Monitoring and Maintenance:
0 Oversee the performance and availability of the SolarWinds platform, ensuring it meets the organization’s monitoring needs.
Ο Regularly update and patch SolarWinds software to maintain security and functionality.
Troubleshooting and Support:
O Act as the point of escalation for critical outages, resolving availability issues, restoring failed systems, and invoking disaster recovery procedures.
O Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
In-depth knowledge of SolarWinds modules such as NPM, SAM, NCM, NTA, IP Address Manager (IPAM), User Device Tracker (UDT), and Log & Event Manager (LEM).
0 Experience with SolarWinds Orion platform and its integration with other IT infrastructure components.
Integration Knowledge:
0 Experience integrating SolarWinds with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, and Jira Service Management.
Knowledge of API usage and scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation and integration tasks is preferred.
O Experience on MOM layer tool integration like Splunk.
Experience:
O Several years of experience in deploying and managing SolarWinds or similar network monitoring tools.
O Proven track record of managing large-scale SolarWinds deployments in enterprise environments.
Problem-Solving:
Several years of experience in deploying and managing Solarwinds or similar network monitoring tools.
o Proven track record of managing large-scale SolarWinds deployments in enterprise environments.
Problem-Solving:
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Strong analytical skills to interpret monitoring data and identify trends.
Communication:
0 Strong communication skills to keep stakeholders updated on critical incidents and to provide training and support to team members.
