We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organisation’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced SCCM & PowerShell professionals for an exciting opportunity with a strategic client. This role involves handling enterprise-level deployments, including managing large volumes of laptops and performing Windows OS upgrades, patching, and application deployments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, with a focus on SCCM, ServiceNow, PowerShell, and Windows OS (Win10/11), as well as excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute enterprise-level deployments for a plant of 200k+ devices, including laptops.
- Perform upgrades from Windows 10 to Windows 11, including patching and application deployments.
- Oversee and implement standard deployment practices using SCCM and ServiceNow.
- Utilize PowerShell and MS Excel to streamline deployment tasks and automate processes.
- Ensure the successful execution of pre-deployment and post-deployment activities.
- Perform deployment checkouts, analyze results, and escalate any failures exceeding predefined thresholds.
- Provide deployment status reports, including metrics and tracking of failed installations and remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with teams for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and escalation of deployment failures.
- Maintain clear documentation and deployment procedures for ongoing operations.
- Provide ongoing desktop operational services to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience with SCCM, ServiceNow, and Jira in large enterprise environments.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows OS (Win10/11) with experience in software installation and virtual desktop management (Citrix).
- Familiarity with MS Excel for reporting and data management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a “can-do” attitude and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High-quality interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Ability to think on your feet and quickly adapt to evolving requirements and challenges.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Citrix virtual desktop environments.
- Knowledge of deployment metrics tracking and remediation procedures.
- Strong documentation and procedural writing skills.
