About the role
The ICT CUSTOMER SUPPORT OFFICER would be responsible for providing support for the deployment and maintenance of computer infrastructure and web technology and the diagnosis and resolution of technical problems. The candidate is required to provide support and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals by installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware.
Education and Experience
Australian qualification or equivalent degree, advanced diploma or diploma, Skilled in customer problem resolution and good English-speaking skills required. A minimum of two to three years of relevant experience is required.
Duties to be undertaken as part of this position include:
Proven ICT Support skills or qualifications across computer support, Internet Security support, data recovery, backup & restore; software installations; web support, network support and mobile software support.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Excellent people skills to handle enquiries about computer software and hardware issues.
Strong client focus and good organisation skills
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new systems and procedures
Ability to work under tight deadlines and strict customer privacy situations
Demonstrated ability to work individually or as part of a team in a busy work environment
Demonstrated ability to work under limited supervision
Prior experience/exposure in an ICT Customer Support technician role or related field
Experience within the SME sector
Experience in telephone-based IT Support/operations
AUD 55,000 – 75,000 per annum
