Roles and responsibilities:
• Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy AWS and Azure applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modelling, and advanced analytics
• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
• Website and software application designing, building, and maintaining
• Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media
• Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritise needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions
• Directing or performing Website updates and assisting in analysing, specifying, and developing Internet strategies, web-based methodologies, and development plans
• Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types
• Communicating with network specialists regarding web-related issues, such as security and hosting websites, to control and enforce Internet and web server security, space allocation, user access, business continuity, website backup and disaster recovery planning
• Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction
• Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems such as image files, audio files and scripting languages
Skills and Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification
• NET Web Development, CSS, HTML5
• C#/Java
• MS SQL Server /Oracle
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
Experience in Similar Role:
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Prior experience supporting IT products and applications
