We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Level 3 Storage and Backup Engineer to join our team. As a Level 3 Engineer, you will play a crucial role in handling high-level technical tasks and troubleshooting complex issues within our storage and backup systems. You will be responsible for managing and ensuring the availability of storage infrastructure, providing support for the backup systems, and executing tasks that require deep technical expertise. Responsibilities:

• Manage, support, and optimize storage and backup systems in a production environment.
• Resolve complex issues escalated from L1 and L2 engineers with minimal supervision.
• Perform high-level troubleshooting, system configurations, and upgrades.
• Set up storage and backup infrastructures from scratch as required.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex system issues to ensure system availability and performance.
• Ensure efficient and secure backup and recovery operations for critical data.
• Work closely with the team to monitor, maintain, and improve the performance of storage and backup infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as a Storage and Backup Engineer.
• 4+ years of experience working with NetApp unified storage systems.
• 4+ years of experience with IBM Flash storage systems.
• 4+ years of experience with Br ocade SAN fabric.
• Proven ability to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize storage and backup environments in production.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in system administration and storage management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate complex issues.
• Ability to set up and configure storage infrastructure from scratch.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Must have experience working in a production environment for at least 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications related to storage systems (NetApp, IBM, Brocade, etc.) are a plus.
• Experience with cloud-based storage and backup solutions is advantageous

Experience in a similar role

• 6 – 10 years of relevant experience.
