We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a cross-skilled Desktop Release Management (DRM) and Software Distribution Specialist with strong IT infrastructure management experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software distribution tools like SCCM, ServiceNow, and Citrix, combined with experience in release management, network technologies, and the software development lifecycle. This role requires effective project coordination, leadership, and the ability to prioritize and manage competing requirements while ensuring business continuity and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT infrastructure projects, coordinate software releases, and ensure timely deployment of desktop applications and systems.
  • Oversee the distribution of software using tools like SCCM, ServiceNow, Citrix, and PowerShell.
  • Networking & Infrastructure: Apply proficiency in WANs, networking technologies, and virtual desktop environments.
  • Project Coordination: Manage cross-functional projects, prioritizing based on risk assessment and aligning with business needs.
  • Agile & SDLC: Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and knowledge of the software development lifecycle to improve project execution.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks through innovative solutions and effective problem-solving.
  • Communication & Reporting: Effectively communicate technical and business information to global stakeholders, ensuring clear alignment on project goals.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Follow ITIL guidelines for service management, ensuring high-quality service delivery and disaster recovery compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in IT infrastructure management and desktop release coordination.
  • Proficiency in SCCM, ServiceNow, Citrix, Windows OS (Win10/11), PowerShell, and desktop applications.
  • Knowledge of WANs, networking, and virtual desktop environments.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile concepts, JIRA, and SDLC best practices.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL frameworks and problem-solving abilities.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in large-scale IT environments, focusing on risk management and optimization.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate across diverse teams and time zones.

Experience in a similar role

  • 3 – 4 years of relevant experience.
