We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Roles & Responsibility

Equipment Setup:
⦁ Set up and configure audio and video equipment for meetings, presentations, and events.
⦁ Ensure proper connections and functionality of AV peripherals, including cameras, microphones, mixers, and switchers.
⦁ Handle more complex equipment setups and help Client AV technician in configurations’. setting up IP,MAC address, Registering the BARCO device etc”
Technical Troubleshooting:
⦁ Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AV equipment promptly with the help of Client Audio Video Engineer
⦁ Troubleshoot problems with audio quality, video display, connectivity, and software functionality along with Client AV engineer.
⦁ Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment to prevent technical issues
User Support:
⦁ Assist end-users in operating AV equipment, including troubleshooting advanced issues.
⦁ Offer in-depth guidance on using remote controls, touch panels, and software interfaces.
⦁ Conduct user training sessions on advanced features and capabilities of AV systems.
Documentation:
⦁ Maintain detailed records of AV equipment configurations, service logs, and user support interactions.
⦁ Prepare reports on recurring technical issues and submit the report to management.
Routine Maintenance:
⦁ Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and longevity of AV equipment.
⦁ Conduct firmware updates, software upgrades, and calibration of advanced AV systems.
Customer Service:
⦁ Deliver excellent customer service by addressing user inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.
⦁ Act as a point of contact for end-users seeking AV support.
Collaboration:
⦁ Collaborate closely with Level 2 and Level 3 AV technicians and IT personnel to address complex technical challenges and system integrations.
⦁ Assist in the planning and execution of AV system upgrades and installations.
Quality Assurance:
⦁ Ensure that AV systems meet quality and performance standards.
⦁ Conduct thorough testing and validation of complex AV setups, ensuring flawless operation.
Security & safety:
⦁ Follow security protocols to protect sensitive audio and video content.
⦁ Prevent unauthorized access to AV systems and troubleshoot security-related issues.
⦁ Adhere to safety guidelines when handling AV equipment and ensure that all safety protocols are followed during installations and maintenance
Event Support:
⦁ Provide advanced technical support for special events, conferences, and presentations, including complex AV setups and live streaming.
⦁ Troubleshoot technical issues during events to minimize disruptions
Reporting:
⦁ Report complex technical issues, equipment failures, or recurring problems to higher-level AV support or IT staff for resolution.
Vendor/OEM Liaison:
⦁ Interface with AV equipment vendors and manufacturers to obtain technical support and resolve equipment-related issues and Vendor escalations.
⦁ RMA for VEPs, and hardware equipment repair/ replacement requests.
⦁ Stay informed about product updates and new technologies in the AV industry.
Out of Scope :
Any system configuration and software troubleshooting is out of scope

Experience in a similar role

  • 1.5+ years of relevant experience.
